In the Château in 1772, the Marquis de Sade organized the first ever drama festival in France. Keeping this memory in mind, we created our gourmet restaurant  runs by our talented chef Yann Foucher.

On warm summer evenings, you will be able to enjoy our unique, very individual cuisine on the terrace, overlooking the garden.

In winter, when the evenings are cooler, we suggest you to dine inside, the Dining room with hundred-year-old moldings, which was almost certainly the setting of the plays and events staged by the “Divin Marquis”.

Our Chef

Born in Orange, Provence, Yann Foucher is a chef driven by its passion for cuisine and traveling. He worked in famous Provence restaurants such as l'Ousteau de Baumanière in Les Baux de Provence or La Mirande in Avignon.

This travel enthusiast has also gained experiences in the the positions he held in England, French Polynesia and New Zealand, where he could widden his culinary horizons.

In 2013, he decided to come back to his home region and worked at the hotel Crillon le Brave with Chef Jerome Blanchet.

In March 2016, we had the chance and pleasure to welcome this young and talented Chef in the Chateau de Mazan. Yann and his team want to make your discover a fine cuisine made with local and seasonal products.
