At the Château de Mazan, we offer two unique gastronomic experiences at our two restaurants: “La Cour du Château” and “La Salle à Manger”. We take pride in serving exceptional, local and seasonal dishes: all our supplies come from within 100 kilometres of the hotel. 

Indoors or outdoors, at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, take your taste buds on a journey through Provence, enjoying authentic flavours and local products from a region where know-how is passed down through the generations.

Vibrancy, creativity and sophistication Chef Christophe Schuffenecker

After earning a star in the 2014 Michelin Guide at the Alpaga Megève which he then retained at I Salti in Corsica, Christophe Schuffenecker took over the kitchens at the Château de Mazan in early 2020. He pours all his energy, talent and know-how into his work to create exceptional dishes.

Our traditional bistro restaurant near Mont Ventoux offers exceptional dishes every day for lunch and dinner (except Sunday evenings and Mondays). We offer a € 38 menu which includes a starter, main course and dessert. Sit back and savour gastronomic delights in the shade of mulberry trees or the century-old acacia tree. What are you waiting for? Reserve your table and indulge in an exceptional meal.

“La Salle à Manger” Our gourmet restaurant

Our gourmet restaurant at Mont Ventoux showcases the region’s most exceptional products in a spectacular setting: the grand salon. French gastronomy meets the charm of the château to take you on a sensory journey. From Wednesday to Friday for dinner only, indulge in one of the chef’s two menus: the three-course “Le Retour Imprévu” or the five-course “Le Glorieux”. 

Current conditions due to the health crisis do not allow us to open La Salle à Manger and offer the experience imagined by our Chef. It is with regret that we inform you that La Salle à Manger will not reopen until April 2022.

Every morning, between 7 and 10.30am, enjoy our all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast for € 19 per person. Sample local, Provençal and seasonal dishes. Indulge in a selection of sweet and savoury products in the cosy dining room or on the informal shaded terrace.
